Tom is an experienced writer, interviewer, and editor and has worked in newspapers and magazines for 20 years. Previously, he was the Radio Times Executive Editor since 2012, after joining the title in 2007.

He also edits and publishes the award-winning magazine, Rakesprogress. Aimed at the new generation of plant lovers, the title looks at the art of gardens, plants, and flowers through the prism of art, fashion, and design.
