Following the ongoing developments of the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent government announcement of a England-wide lockdown, PPA has taken the difficult decision to postpone The PPA Festival 2021, which was due to take place at London’s Tobacco Dock on April 29. It will now be taking place on April 21, 2022.

The health and safety of our members, partners, speakers, attendees and team remain our highest priority and in light of the uncertainty caused by the public health situation, we believe this is the right thing to do. Instead, we will be hosting an alternative online event running across April 28 and 29 that will focus on business recovery and accelerating growth.

PPA CEO Owen Meredith said: “It is with a heavy heart that we have made this decision. But with the latest government guidance and restrictions now in place, we were left with no option other than to act. In doing so we can provide our members and event partners with certainty, and focus our energies on delivering alternative value and content. I am excited about the online event we are planning in place of this year’s Festival - so keep the date in your diary and watch this space for more news soon!”

PPA Events Director Caroline Cronin added: “Whilst we’re obviously disappointed to have to lose the PPA Festival for another year, 2020 taught us – as it did our members - that delivering valuable content and cultivating connections can be achieved in other ways. We were greatly encouraged by the positive response to our content-led events that took place online late in 2020, and we will be using those learnings to deliver insights, unique content and engagement opportunities across two days at the end of April as we drive forward into a more positive future for our sector.”
