

Alix Fox is a multi award-winning writer, broadcaster & sex educator with over 18 years of experience. A script consultant on hit Netflix series Sex Education since its inception, she’s been resident ‘Shagony Aunt’ on The Modern Mann podcast for almost a decade, and has previously presented shows including BBC Radio 1’s Unexpected Fluids, Audible’s KINK!, Channel 4’s The Sex Clinic and The Guardian’s Close Encounters. Named Best Sexual Wellbeing Ambassador 2020 in the ETO Awards, and with two ARIA awards for podcasting, she’s currently writing her first book, The Missing Kink, as well as working on documentary projects for BBC Storyville and her own series examining the love lives of elders, Dirty Old Perverts.
Starting out as a section editor on alternative lifestyle mag Bizarre, Alix regularly freelances for titles including Vogue, Fabulous, Stylist, Glamour, Cosmo, Men's Fitness, Kinfolk, The Guardian, The Independent, Time Out, and many more. She's a proud face of HIV Testing Week and The Eve Appeal gynaecological cancer charity; a board member of The Vagina Museum; a TEDx speaker; and a Women of the Future alumnus.
