

Laura has more than 20 years’ experience in online media. She started out as a Sub Editor on GameSpot UK at what was then Ziff Davis, before moving into product development and site management. Later at CBS Interactive she was a B2B product manager for ZDNet and then TechRepublic. She spent six years in the product team at Immediate Media, working on RadioTimes.com and other titles.
More recently she was Product Director at the New Statesman Media Group, helping to spearhead the redesign of the New Statesman website. The site was launched on a new purpose-built central publishing platform (dubbed Figaro), which more than 50 sites across NSMG and its sister business GlobalData Media will ultimately be migrated to.
Laura’s career has seen her at the juncture of editorial and product development and her passion has always been working with and around premium content and finding ways to serve customers positively. She is also passionate about creating tools for internal teams that help make their work pleasurable and efficient.
