Jo is a founder member and Chief People Office at Immediate since the company formed in 2011, taking an expanded role with Burda International in 2021. With over 20 years’ experience in strategic HR and board-level positions in international and UK based media companies, including with Magicalia Ltd and VNU Business Media, Jo believes creating a healthy, inclusive working environment in which everyone’s contribution is valued, is key to an organisation's success. 

Passionate about purpose driven, people centric agendas, Jo’s been fundamental in creating and driving Immediate’s culture, including launching learning, wellbeing and community programmes, new leadership approaches, and the development of Immediate’s D&I strategies.
